Florida Outlaws Confidential Teen Services

Florida has changed the rules about teen health care.

As of July 2025, teens can no longer access birth control or reproductive health services without parental consent, and parents now have the right to see all past and future medical records. This includes testing and treatment of STDs.

We are deeply disappointed by this unnecessary erosion of confidential care and disheartened that we must betray the trust thousands of teens have placed in Womankind since 2001.

We remain committed to providing compassionate care and helping our patients and families navigate this challenging new reality.
